Natility enables couples to conceive without Assisted Reproductive technologies using natural, medical and minor surgical techniques.
Natility was born out of an identified gap in fertility care. As Leila Frodsham is one of the only Consultant Gynaecologists in the UK with a special interest in both Psychosexual Medicine with Tertiary centre training and Research in Subfertility, she found that there was a large group of people who wanted to see her with subfertility and sexual problems. Many of these couples were having relationship issues from the stress of failing to fall pregnant and this was impacting on their sexual lives which, in turn, affected their chances of conception.
Despite many previous failed cycles of assisted conception, she found that many fell pregnant under her care and felt that this should be more widely available in a specialist centre.
Couples who successfully conceive with assistance are usually offered ‘one scan only’ in their treatment centres. Leila, who has worked in early pregnancy for over 20 years, is passionate about supportive and comprehensive care for pregnancy loss and so we incorporated this into Natility. We want to support and care for you and your baby to a more certain stage (up to 12 weeks) before handing your care to an obstetrician.
We recognise that many couples would like to find alternatives to IVF, either before they consider trying assisted conception or after they have had many cycles, as a less expensive and invasive alternative. Some of our patients may hold religious beliefs that make assisted conception difficult to consider.
Our unique approach incorporating years of experience in subfertility, assisted conception, underlying causes of infertility and their management (including medical and surgical approaches), early pregnancy and psychosexual medicine enable couples to improve the journey to pregnancy and support in the early stages.
Our team can use their combined expertise to provide holistic care to either achieve pregnancy or provide the best possible chances if assisted conception is required.
